1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Chartede's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the services on behalf of a firm, you represent that you have the authority to bind that firm to these terms.
2. Description of Service
Chartede provides a cloud-based practice management platform for Chartered Accountants and accounting firms in India, including client management, compliance tracking, billing, document management, and related features.
3. Account Terms
You must provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. Each user must have their own account — credentials cannot be shared.
4. Acceptable Use
You may use Chartede only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not use the service to store or transmit malicious code, to violate any laws or regulations, to infringe on intellectual property rights, or to engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the service.
5. Data Ownership
You retain all ownership of data you enter into Chartede. By using the service, you grant Chartede a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the services. We will not access your data except for support purposes with your explicit permission.
6. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All prices are in Indian Rupees and exclusive of GST. Failure to pay may result in service suspension. We offer a 14-day free trial for all plans — no credit card required during the trial.
7. Service Availability
We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated 48 hours in advance. You can monitor service status at status.chartede.com.
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access will be suspended and you will have 30 days to export your data. After 30 days, your data will be securely deleted.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
